Simplify Networking and Lower Costs – we’ve made the connection

Experience for yourself: cool new HP Blade Connect Community

Wire-once – change ready connectivity for servers and virtual machines

When connecting server blades to your network, you had two basic interconnect choices—pass-thrus and switches. Pass-thrus are simple but require too many cumbersome cables and create complexity. Blade switches reduce the number of cables but add more for LAN and SAN administrators to manage. In both cases, multiple people are needed to perform very simple server tasks. Only HP offers a third choice—HP Virtual Connect.

Simplify Networking and Lower Costs – we’ve made the connection

Virtual Connect is a major innovation for customers because it provides a better way for IT to work together and offers benefits to all parties involved, without the traditional compromises. It is simply the best way to connect servers to network LANs and SANs for the lowest costs and least amount of power, HP continues to expand this technology and its capabilities across ProLiant, Integrity and StorageWorks product lines. Virtual Connect can simplify and converge your server edge connections, integrate into any standards based networking infrastructure and reduce complexity while cutting your costs.

HP Virtual Connect Flex-10

Virtual Connect Flex-10 technology builds even more flexibility into each server blade to add up to four times as many NIC connections, fine-tune the bandwidth of each connection. It helps remove up to 75 percent of server-edge infrastructure, lower purchase costs by up to 66 percent, and reduce power consumption by up to 50 percent. Virtual Connect enables you to transform your infrastructure and uncover its full potential.
