Select 'Generate New Licenses'. Paste the Order number in to the 'Order number' field. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- After you have installed Data Protector Express Basic click the 'Register' button in the User Interface. Provided your machine is connected to the Internet, this will go to www.webware.hp.com and start the registration process.
HP Passport (HPP) is required
HP Passport is a single sign-in service from HP that enables you to register once then log on to multiple HP websites using your HPP credentials. A HPP logon is required to use the HP License Key Delivery website. If you already have a HPP account simply enter this when you retrieve your license key. If you do not have a HPP account you need to create one using the link on the HP License Key Delivery Service website.
When you have your license key
Enter the license key by selecting 'Licenses' from the 'Help' drop-down menu in the Data Protector Basic GUI.
