Answers

Q1. How does HP Storage Essentials SQL Server Viewer visually represent environments that have literally hundreds of databases and thousands of tablespaces on their SAN?
A1. The topology viewer in the Application Explorer component of HP Storage Essentials SQL Server is highly scalable, and can graphically render even large, complex SQL Server environments. In addition to standard topology scaling functions that enable you to zoom in/out, The HP Storage Essentials SQL Server Viewer also includes a "Filter Paths" feature that enables you to selectively turn on/off SQL Server paths to make it easier to visualize the SAN dependencies of specific SQL tablespaces, databases, and files.
