| Q1. |
Can I import data from HP Chargeback Manager into my existing financial analysis,
budgeting, accounting, or asset management software? |
| A1. |
Yes. Chargeback and asset management data from HP Chargeback Manager can be imported
into your existing third party software solutions in several different ways.
- Report data can be exported to HTML, XML, PDF, or Microsoft Excel formats directly from the HP Chargeback Manager
user interface and imported into your third party solution
- Custom reports and queries can be written to the schema views that have been created for the common Oracle
Database that supports HP Storage Essentials Suite to directly access asset and chargeback data
- Programs and scripts can be written using the J2EE interfaces and CLIs that are included with the OpenRAD
toolkit to extract chargeback and asset data. These programs and scripts can then package up the data in the
formats required by your third party solution.

| Q2. |
What storage resources does HP Chargeback Manager support? |
| A2. |
HP Chargeback Manager, like all modules of HP Storage Essentials plug-ins, leverages the
broad device support of the HP platform to support multi-vendor storage environments, including storage systems,
switches, and host servers offered by EMC, HDS, HP, IBM, SGI, and Sun Microsystems. For a complete list of supported
resources, visit the Support Matrix. |

| Q3. |
Does HP Chargeback Manager collect and store vendor, model, and serial number information? |
| A3. |
Yes, HP Chargeback Manager automatically collects Vendor, Model, and Serial Number details
for all supported devices that provide this information. The module also records Date Discovered and Date Last
Modified for each asset. It also attempts to collect barcode number, asset code, asset type, asset tag, and asset
category information, and gives you the option to manually enter this asset information if it cannot be auto-discovered.
You can also record a wide range of location, storage tier classification, staff, license and warranty, and custom
information as part of each asset record. |
