Overview

The powerful reporting capabilities of HP Storage Essentials serves as the reporting engine for the entire suite, and automatically delivers critical storage management information to IT staff and line of business managers. You'll be able to more effectively communicate the value of your storage infrastructure, without adding more tasks to your already-overflowing responsibilities.

HP Storage Essentials offers more than 200 out-of-the box reports in a wide range of storage management categories, including Asset Management, Dependency, Events, Capacity, Performance, and Utilization, as well as Detail reports for every class of element in your storage infrastructure, including Applications, Hosts, Fabrics, Switches, and Storage Systems. It even tracks the reports you most recently ran for quick reference.

Access to reports can be controlled through the integrated role-based security features of Storage Essentials. Recognizing that different people in your enterprise have different reporting preferences, reports can be viewed and exported in HTML, PDF, Microsoft Excel, and XML formats. And, with the built-in scheduler, reports can be automatically delivered to IT staff and business managers who are not authorized users of Storage Essentials.
