XP Performance Advisor reduces complexity and accelerates resolution of performance problems by collecting information from multiple hosts, arrays, and sites, and by allowing you to drill down to the problem area. The ability to run the application at any time and from any place allows you to quickly resolve problems even when you are located far from the array. XP Performance Advisor accelerates business agility by identifying capacity and performance requirements, allowing you to avoid impending outages due to unavailable or misallocated storage resources. It also provides a rich Command-Line User interface (CLUI) that supports integration with third party software.

What's new

• Integration with HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager. Performance Advisor can provide RAID Group performance data to Tiered Storage Manager, allowing you to consider performance implications before migrating data. This capability requires HP StorageWorks XP Command View AE version 5.9.
• Real time troubleshooting with XPWatch, a free command line interface utility provided with HP StorageWorks XP Performance Advisor. XPWatch is designed for focused trouble-shooting and can capture data as frequently as every 10 seconds.
