Overview

HP XP Performance Control Software provides port performance allocation for HP XP Disk Arrays. It has a rich feature set for flexible policy definition, monitoring, and analysis. With HP XP Performance Control you can align IT priorities with storage performance resources and intelligently allocate these resources to hosts. It lets you reserve performance resources for your critical systems so that they have the performance required to meet business objectives. You can configure the system so that time-critical business processes (like backups and data warehouse loads) get the array bandwidth they need to complete within targeted time windows.

HP XP Performance Control Software allows you to consolidate a variety of application on a single XP Disk Array. It also enables sophisticated service provider solutions based on performance level quality-of-service. Because HP XP Performance Control gives you control over your XP Disk Array performance resources, it helps you improve the ROI of your XP Disk Array solution.
