The File Serving Utility is based on HP PolyServe's Matrix Server software, a shared data clustering architecture that enables all servers to see all data within the SAN. Matrix Server is comprised of the only symmetric Cluster File System (CFS) that runs on Microsoft Windows Server System, providing all the benefits of robust shared data architecture without locking IT into another operating environment such as the proprietary systems of some NAS appliances. Matrix Server's shared data cluster provides a better framework for high availability, data management and capacity scaling. |
