Overview
HP StorageWorks XP Data Shredder Software erases selected data volumes with up to eight overwrite passes to reduce the chance of anyone ever re-creating the data. It is a valuable software application for critical data stored in enterprise environments where secure erasure is an absolute requirement. It can reduce costs, help achieve compliance with corporate policies, and help to enhance data privacy and security.

HP XP Data Shredder is an easy to use application that provides a variety of overwrite patterns either user selectable or random, shows progress bars, and has a confirmation panel which at completion of the operation displays the status of each of the overwrites specified.
