A1. Up to eight overwrite passes can be made.
Q2. Does it meet the government specification?
A2. It complies with US Dept. of Defense standard DoD5220.22-M.
Q3. What is the SW licensing based on?
A3. Licensing is per HP XP Disk Array frame.
Q4. What HP XP Disk Arrays are supported?
A4. XP24000 and XP20000: XP Data Shredder is included with HP XP Array Manager Software.
XP12000, XP10000, XP1024, and XP128: XP Data Shredder is a separately sold product.
