Why is there an extra bracket that ships with this HBA? |

The bracket installed on the HBA is a full size bracket designed for installing the HBA in full size PCI slots. The smaller bracket is a low profile bracket designed for installing the HBA in low profile PCI slots. Several HP ProLiant server models ship standard with low profile PCI slots. Therefore, HP is providing a complete solution by including both full size and low profile brackets with this HBA. |
