Yes, The EVA4400 can exist in a SAN supporting both 2 Gb and/or 4 Gb and/or 8 Gb. The new EVAs will negotiate to the speed of the connection, up to 4 Gb with the FC-only model or up to 8 Gb with the embedded 8Gb FC switch. 1 Gb is not supported directly connected to the 4 Gb EVA (except as noted) but may exist elsewhere in the SAN. |
