Overview

The FCA2684 and the FCA2684DC are single and dual port versions of a 2 Gb PCI-X to FibreChannel HBA that provides Tru64 operating system connectivity to HP StorageWorks arrays. These HBAs are the newest architecture offerings in higher performance Fibre Channel HBA connectivity for Alpha Servers.

Both of these models are completely backwards compatible with older versions offering the customer investment protection. They completely interoperate with each other so nothing has to be swapped out. The FCA2684 is also the first 2 Gb PCI-X dual channel HBA offering for Alpha servers. These increase a customers connectivity options in slot restricted servers.
