	Microsoft iSCSI Software Target adds iSCSI target capability to HP Storage Server products, enabling customers to combine file, print, and block storage services on a single platform.


1.	Can I install Microsoft iSCSI Software Target on any Microsoft Windows server?

Q1.	Can I install Microsoft iSCSI Software Target on any Microsoft Windows server?
A1.	No, it will only install on HP NAS products running Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003 Release 2 (WSS2003 R2) Standard or Enterprise Edition. Also, it CANNOT be installed on a general purpose server running Windows Server 2003 Release 2.

Q2.	Can I install Microsoft iSCSI Software Target on any manufacturer’s NAS products running Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003?
A2.	No, it will only install on HP NAS products running WSS2003 R2.

Q3.	Can I install Microsoft iSCSI Software Target on my HP StorageWorks B2000, B3000, or E7000 NAS server?
A3.	Only if those products have upgraded their operating system to WSS2003 R2.

Q4.	Is Microsoft iSCSI Software Target user-installable?
A4.	Yes; installation can be performed by the user and does not generally require services intervention.

Q5.	Is Microsoft iSCSI Software Target localized?
A5.	You will be able to localize using the standard Microsoft localization tool in WSS2003 R2.

Q6.	Why would I use Microsoft iSCSI Software Target to host Exchange stores instead of Windows Storage Server 2003 Exchange Feature Pack?
A6.	The Windows Storage Server 2003 Exchange Feature Pack is not available on Windows Storage Server 2003 Release 2 based products.
