HP’s StorageWorks OEM Division offers third party companies the opportunity to buy and use HP tape drive technology in either own label or generic configurations. In addition to the DAT 160 and newly introduced LTO-4 Ultrium full-height and half-height products, other HP tape drives available through this channel include products based on the DDS-4, DAT 72, LTO-2 and LTO-3 formats. Leading tape formats in which HP holds significant intellectual property positions. DDS/DAT autoloaders based on DAT 72 technology are also available, along with rack mounting kits for tape drives.
All current HP OEM tape drives are fully RoHS compliant.
