HP StorageWorks Business Copy EVA Software is an array based application solution for the EVA family that uses a simple graphical user interface to create, manage and configure local replication for EVA storage arrays. Business Copy EVA Software shares an integrated management interface, Replication Solutions Manager (RSM), with HP StorageWorks Continuous Access EVA Software. With the combination of traditional Snapshot, advanced Snapclone and true space efficient Vsnap replication technologies, Business Copy EVA Software enables enterprise business continuity. The Management GUI, Replication Solutions Manager, integrates remote replication capabilities found in Continuous Access EVA Software across the full EVA family.

HP DAT 160 tape media is a precision-engineered product subject to rigorous quality control and an exhaustive test program to provide backup and archival storage you can trust. Twice the capacity and performance for the same price per GB. The new HP StorageWorks DAT 160 tape drive will protect up to 49.3GB per hour, storing up to 160GB (compressed) on a single DAT 160 data cartridge. And because its read/write compatible with HP SureStore or StorageWorks DDS-4 and DAT 72 technology, you can continue using your existing media.

Fourth generation HP LTO4 Ultrium 1.6TB RW and WORM Data Cartridges offer the highest capacity of any midrange tape technology, combined with low cost per GB and native AES-256 bit encryption. The HP Brand specification, the industrys most demanding media quality standard, ensures maximum reliability when restoring data from a tape. New basefilm and coating technology has increased the bit density of the media, allowing more data to be saved in the same physical space. With 896 data tracks compared to only 704 tracks for Ultrium 3, the capacity of the tape has doubled. In a HP StorageWorks LTO4 Ultrium 1840 drive, the media is capable of supporting 240MB/sec transfer rate in compressed mode.

What's New:

• Smoother base film and smaller magnetic particles increase the bit density, allowing more data to be recorded in the same amount of tape; it also enables a longer tape to be packed into the same size cartridge shell, contributing to the increased capacity.

The HP StorageWorks Rack-Mount Kits provide a high density, rack-mountable tape drive solution for both direct-attach SCSI, SAS, and USB backup and archiving applications. The Rack-Mount Kit family is ideal for customers who have rack environments and are looking for a tape backup solution with a smaller footprint.

Designed for basic data protection, the HP StorageWorks 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader provides cost-effective, easy-to-install unattended backup. The HP StorageWorks MSA1000 Small Business SAN G2 Kit is the ideal storage consolidation system for a first time implementer of an entry-level Storage Area Network (SAN). XP AutoPath software improves access to and availability of storage by distributing the load across multiple paths and from one path to another in the event of path failure.

Hitachi Dynamic Link Manager software provides XP and Hitachi storage customers with a robust path failover and load balancing solution for their open systems storage network environments targeting only Sun Solaris OS. HDLM software improves access to and availability of storage by distributing the load across multiple paths and from one path to another in the event of path failure.
