For a customer who has legacy StorageWorks NAS products, there are two available R2 upgrade SKUs, T4423A and T4424A. These upgrade kits must be ordered from HP or an HP partner.
Order sku # T4423A (HP StorageWorks NAS R2 Upgrade Standard Edition) to upgrade to WSS2003 R2 for these products:
- StorageWorks NAS 1500s (DL100 G1 Storage Server)
- StorageWorks NAS 2000s
Order sku # T4424A (HP StorageWorks NAS R2 Upgrade Enterprise Edition) to upgrade to WSS2003 R2 for these products:
- StorageWorks NAS 4000s
- StorageWorks NAS 9000s
If you have older StorageWorks NAS b2000 v2, b3000 v2, or e7000 v2 products, you can apply the upgrades above to get to WSS2003 R2 only if you have previously upgraded to the Windows Storage Server 2003 Operating System and applied the latest Service Release DVD to get to WSS2003 OS Service Pack 1 (SP1). If you are still running the old Windows SAK Operating System, there is no upgrade path to WSS2003 R2.
